On-the-Fly Iced Tea / Hot Brew

To make an iced tea you're going to boil your tea and chill it over ice. You'll need 2 pitchers or mugs - one for steeping, one for straining. Use 2 tablespoons of loose leaf tea per 6 to 8 ounces of boiling water. Eleanor Grey is perfect for a black iced tea or Nightcap is a crisp non-caffeinated iced blend. Steep as you normally would, strain into another mug, and add about as much ice to boiling water.

Pro tip: You may need to add more ice as the hot water will quickly melt those cubes.
We don't think you'd need to add any sweeteners to these, but that's just us! Top it off with some mint for a festive flair.

Cold Brew Iced Tea

This is our favorite way to steep iced tea because it goes down smooth and has less acidity. Take 2 tablespoons of loose leaf tea for 6 to 8 ounces of cold water.
Let the tea steep in a pitcher of cold water overnight. Add a little garnish with your favorite summer fruit, like strawberries or raspberries.
